Soil spaders - the soil of the future!
What is the difference between a traditional rotary tiller and a spader? A rotary tiller intensively pulverizes the topsoil into a very fine soil layer, which quickly compacts and loses its porosity. In addition, during the milling process, microorganisms living in the soil are destroyed, especially fungi. In contrast, a soil spader "lifts" the top layer, better preserving the soil structure and porosity. Plant residues are evenly incorporated into the topsoil and microorganisms are treated much more gently.
Farmax offers a wide range of modern spaders, available with working widths from 90 cm to 450 cm and with a spading depth up to 120 cm.
